Every machine is inspected, tested, and warrantied before it leaves our Seattle workshop — so it plays perfectly the moment it arrives at your door.
Retro Arcade Games is a Seattle, Washington-based dealer of pinball machines for sale to collectors, home game room owners, bars, and businesses in all 50 states. We don’t drop-ship or resell sight-unseen units — every machine that leaves our workshop has been opened, inspected, and hands-on serviced by our own technicians, from flipper rebuilds to board diagnostics to cabinet detailing. If you’re building a game room, restocking an arcade, or buying your first pinball machine, our inventory spans rare classics from Bally and Williams to the newest licensed titles from Stern, Jersey Jack, and American Pinball.
Sites like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist list plenty of machines — but private sellers rarely disclose real condition, almost never offer a warranty, and leave you to arrange your own freight for a 250-pound machine that’s easy to damage in transit. A private “bargain” machine that needs $1,000+ in board repairs, new rubbers, and a playfield restoration often ends up costing more than buying restored from a dealer in the first place.
When you buy pinball machines for sale through us, you get:
Most buyers land on one of four questions. Here's a straight answer to each:
New machines come factory-fresh with full manufacturer warranty and the newest playfield tech — typically $5,500–$9,500 depending on brand and edition.
Refurbished machines are used units stripped down, rebuilt, and tested by a technician — you get near-new reliability at a lower price point, usually $4,000–$8,000.
Used, as-is machines are the cheapest entry point (sometimes under $2,000) but carry the highest risk of hidden repair costs.
Factor in shipping and setup, not just the sticker price. A $1,500 "deal" that needs a new power board and playfield rebuild can easily cost more than a $4,500 refurbished machine that's ready to plug in.
Most standard cabinets need roughly 2–3 feet of width and about 5–6 feet of depth for the backbox and player standing room, plus a standard 110V household outlet. Measure your doorway too — cabinets are usually shipped fully or partially assembled.
Licensed themes (music, movies, superheroes) tend to hold resale value; classic electromechanical (EM) machines from the 1960s–70s appeal to collectors who want mechanical scoring reels and bell sounds rather than digital displays and modern rulesets.
The largest current manufacturer; licensed titles like AC/DC, Aerosmith, Godzilla
Luxury builds with high-resolution LCD displays
classic 1990s cabinets (Addams Family, Attack from Mars)
modern remakes and original designs
limited-run collector editions
Every order ships free to anywhere in the continental USA. Here’s the process, start to finish:
Typical lead times run anywhere from in-stock (ships same week) to 4–8 weeks for machines currently being restored — listed clearly on every product page.
Every machine we sell — new, refurbished, or limited edition — is backed by a warranty and hands-on support after delivery, not just at checkout. If something isn’t right, you’re calling a technician who actually worked on the machine, not a call center.
